After two decades in climate tech and executive technology roles, I transitioned to real estate. I’ve brought the same keen curiosity and analytical drive necessary to achieve command and a deep understanding of new domains. Throughout my career, I’ve helped clients and colleagues clarify and distill their goals to build a strategy to get there. In fact, early in my career, I found tremendous satisfaction in leading active travelers on challenging, authentic, and luxurious international journeys as a professional travel guide for Backroads. As it turns out, advising real estate clients seamlessly builds on the skills I’ve developed throughout my career, especially as an active travel guide building lasting relationships, solving disparate and complex problems, and negotiating tricky situations. And I love to have fun along the way.

 

I bring a unique perspective, having worked in so many domains. I taught high school in San Francisco, worked as a research fellow in experimental atomic physics at Lawrence Berkeley National Labs, and I’ve lived, worked, and traveled in dozens of countries around the world. This breadth of experience from teaching to experimental physics to executive roles equips me to analyze and navigate the complex, high-stakes decisions my clients face.

 

A native Californian, I arrived at the University of California at Berkeley in 1991 and have lived in the East Bay and San Francisco for over 30 years. I fell in love with the Bay Area’s exceptional access to nature, the cultural richness, and the food scene. At Cal, I satisfied my love of learning and earned an undergraduate degree in Physics and Spanish, graduating Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude. I later received an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

 

When not helping clients, I enjoy running on trails in the East Bay hills, eating dim sum with my daughter, walking and going to yoga with my partner, and going just about anywhere with my yellow Labrador Retriever, Lola.
